The battery revolution is here. Small power banks for recharging your phone, laptop, or for going camping are now something you can buy at any retailer. How about going a bit bigger? Instead of 100Wh, what about 10kWh, add a 3-phase support? Many traditionally AC powered pieces of equipment contain batteries now. Drills, lights, cutting tools. But a battery can only be as large, given that the tool is still hand-held. Once a higher power (continuous or peak) is required, it’s back to the AC socket again.
For all those welders, large saws for cutting concrete, large drilling machines, mixers out there - how about a small battery trolley, that you can plug your existing equipment to? Or just be able to have an easy way to recharge all those small batteries in your power tools directly on-site, with no cable pulling? With a 10kWh battery pack, and 32A 3-phase support (or 240VAC split phase), you can power tools for an entire shift. Just bring the trolley back for recharge overnight.
You don’t need to stick with old 48V solar inverters to do projects like this. Our existing power converters can handle batteries up to 1000 V, but can also work as low as 100V. We can generate any grid standard, whether it’s 400VAC 50Hz, 480VAC 60Hz, 208VAC, or 240VAC split phase, and switch between them using a simple CAN bus command.
